Palisade fencing is one of the different types of fencing. It is the most common type of security fence available in variety of colours or in a plain galvanized finish. It offers low cost and effective fencing solution for industrial plants, factories, storage yards etc. They are made from steel and come with range of heights, most common heights are 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.4m, 3.0m, 3.6m.The application of palisade fencing may range from simply bordering of areas to high security solutions. It is composed of steel components (pales, rails and posts) welded together to form panels, panels to posts and posts welded eventually to constitute fence. Steel palisade fencing is most popular and is used as the preferred method of demarcation and security within the domain of residential and industrial sites. There are two main types available: ’D’ section palisade and ‘W’ section palisade. They are mainly for additional security. Construction of palisade fencing is done by the method of welding which includes assembling, installing etc. The fencing components are assembled together on site and cannot be dissembled. Every component of it is separately manufactured and assembled in a way of “hinge method” which strengthens the security power of the fence.
